Boyfriend chose abstinence after sex....

My boyfriend of a year and a half and I have had sex 7 or 8 times. Last night he decided he wants to stop until we're married.... I'm crushed. I feel like I did something wrong.... And I love sex with him!!! I'm so sad 🙀 I wish he could've asked to wait before we'd started because now I know what I'm missing. And jes being kind if rude. He keeps saying "you need sex and since I won't give it to you, you're going to get it from someone else without even realising it". We've only been with each other and I've NEVER even got close to cheating on him.... He says he wants to do this so we have something to look forward to when were married but I don't want to wait:((
