BE HONEST: Do you wash all baby toys before giving them to your baby?

It seems like moms always get so judgy if you don't wash baby clothes before putting them on your baby, but what do you moms do with toys? Has it even crossed your mind? Toys go in a baby's mouth even more than their clothes do.

Germ-a-phobe here! I washed all her clothes and stuffed animals. I wash toys and boil anything for teething eating. She gets enough germs from people coming over and holding her. #sorrynotsorry

I wash the toys with soap and water before the first use, most because I don't know how much they were handled in the store before I purchased it.

I wash all clothes and toys when they first come home. Then on occasion wash plush toys in with a load of clothes and wipe down hard toys. Maybe once a week? I work with you manufacturing and they come in contact with a lot of hands and chemicals before they make their way to the customers. Once they are cleaned and in contact with your home germs you are safe for the occasional wipe down.

The toys she chews on a lot go through the dish washer pretty regular. And her lovies and plushies go in with her laundry when they start getting gross. But I am not super clean with them. If she drops a teething ring on the living room floor or somewhere like that don't wash it.

Not gonna lie, I wash everything. Baby clothes before they get worn, toys before they are used, and I wash toys/pacifiers once a day if they are being consistently used. I mean, if the toy drops on the floor in my house I will give it back to my baby without being washed, but if it's been sitting around or has been used on any given day, it'll get washed before the next day.

Funny that I should read this right now: I was just starting to relax about germs when my 5 month old got MRSA. No joke. We just got back from a week long hospital stay. No judgement on anyone else but not knowing what/who he touched to pick it up, I'm going to be even crazier than ever about cleaning! I never want him to have to get an IV in his head again😔😥

We use lysol wipes and the spray to disinfectant them. I aways find adorable new toys at thrift shops in yardsales and dont even let baby see them till they are washed. Kids and pets are germy little poopy creatures lol i dont want someone elses little poop creature germs in myhouse. Even new toys at the store people are always touching get nasty with viruses

I usually wash clothes before she wears them new or hand me downs so they have the same laundry detergent. I don't always and she hasn't had any reaction so far.

I only rinse the pacifier with water if it falls on our floor, but ur right what about everything else they put in their mouths??! That's crazy...I never thought of that 😱 lol
