How long should i wait before going to a doctor after a missed period?? I've taken a couple pregnancy tests and they have said negative.

This is my first menstral cycle off the pill in 6 years and I thought my period was gonna hit me like a ton of bricks. My husband and I were/are actively trying to conceive but he has fertility issues that we believe currently render him almost infertile.

I really don't want to get my hopes up... But it's so hard not to!
