Caffiene is completely fine in moderation. About 200mg/ day is fine. My doctor told me I can have two 8oz cups of regular coffee every day. Avoid sprouts, alcohol, and undercooked meat.

When I was pregnant I was considered borderline gestational diabetic (but not diagnosed) so I had to watch my carbs and fat content.  No sugar for me at all! I didn't mind since I knew my LO would be healthy. Use myfitnesspal app (it's free and helps you chart what you eat, you can scan the barcode on your food item too to help you).   Caffeinated drinks is no good! Even decaf still has caffeine just lowered amounts.  I drank a ton of sleepy time tea at night to help me sleep and to feel like I was drinking tea with caffeine.  Mind tricking myself lol.  Drinks LOTS of water!! My midwife said 1-3gallons a day! I peed a lot!! Rest, sleep and healthy foods!
