Inflammation on my cervix.

I recently got a pap smear (my first one ever) They called me today to let me know everything came back normal, but that I had inflammation on my cervix, and that they were ordering me an antibiotics, and to repeat my pap smear in a year.

What does that mean? I'm so embarrassed, I told my husband. I've been with him, and only him for over 3 years. He's not upset or even mad. But I just can't help but feel embarrassed about the situation.
