Has anyone experienced bleeding during pregnancy?

Hey mums !!
I've recently had one of the biggest scares of my life.
5 days ago (Tuesday)I woke up with abdominal cramping and heavy bleeding at 6 weeks pregnant.
I have since been to the doctor
And got two blood tests 
Tuesday hcg was 12500
Thursday hcg was 17846
Doctor was happy that things were going along ok & that it wasn't a miscarriage.
I have an ultrasound booked for Monday to check how everything is going.
But I am wondering if there are other woman out there who have or do bleed during their pregnancy & if the cause is known, why?
I'm just looking for answers, this will be my first, my SO & I have waited for this for a long time. I'm just looking for other stories and guidance. Thank you all in advance ❤️❤️

I had in the start of 16 week, it was very little, but I get scared!!!! Anyone can tell that it's nothing to worry about?

I've had it and has a mmc then I've had it twice and had a healthy boy and a 20 weeks with a girl I had a lil pocket on ultra sound with this one and was warned I may bleed a lil no idea with my boy why I did maybe same thing but was gone by ultrasound
