Don't want to break up 😩

I'm starting collage in September but it's about 2 hours away from home and my boyfriend, he works and only had Sunday's off and is staring to worry that we won't see each other. It's killing us both to think it I had him crying to me for the first time in fear of losing me! I've promised I'd stay with him and try my best to get up when I can but I can't seem to convince him. Has any one experienced anything like this or could give some advice? I'll be so grateful for anything please
