Still swollen??? Helpppp!

I will be 4 weeks postpartum Tuesday & my engagement ring still doesn't fit.. (My wedding band bearly does) also my shoes still don't fit my feet don't look swollen I think they just got bigger will they go back to normal both my fingers & shoes?

I am as well!! Please be careful because my pre eclampsia followed me after I gave birth! I was in the ER 2 days after I was released from the hospital because I was so swollen I couldn't walk! I'm 3 weeks pp and I've lost almost 40 lbs with the help of meds to help with the swelling! So depending on how swollen you are, you might want to get checked out!

My fingers are still swollen also 😔 I'm 11 PP and I'm really disappointed I can't wear my ring yet.

If you can find it where you are you might try a drink called Recovery Water. Its great!!! I had lots of problems with swelling and leg craps during pregnancy , even being in a diaretic, so I did everything I could with my diet to help things. This was suggested to me as it contains potassium, calcium, and electrolytes just like a sports drink but contains no sugars or add crap. Made my cramps and swelling much better. I was so swollen for the last two weeks post partum. I had my hubs pick me up some, drank a couple a day, and noticed a difference within the first day. A week later and I have no swelling. Worth the try. Also worth mentioning that if you had pitocin it is pretty normal to have swelling for up to a few weeks afterword. Good luck!!!

I was incredibly swollen too.  I got some compression socks and it helped the swelling to go down permanently after 2 days of wearing them.
