There is always LH present. Some women will get an LH surge right before their period starts, it can really happen at any time that's why it's recommended to stop testing with OPKs after you get the first positive. So definitely test with a pregnancy test, good luck 😊

The same thing happened to me and af didnt show up today!!!!   Im going to test either tomorrow or tuesday.  Ive read in a lot of places that opks can detect pregnacy!!!!   Good luck!

I'm neither pregnant nor ovulating. I just had a missed miscarriage and D&C 9 days ago and tested to see how low my HCG was, thought I would take an OPK too and to my surprise it was positive as hell. I'm still bleeding from the procedure also. I guess it is true that you can get a positive OPK when HCG is present.

I've also read that sometimes you can get a positive OPK when pregnant....baby dust and fingers crossed!
