Has anyone Had a Positive screening for Ds and have a false Positive then having a Healthy Baby?

It's not positive or negative....it's a statistic. After a certain ratio they consider it an increased risk, but does not mean your child definitely has it.

The screening from what I inderstand isn't positive or negative but more of a 1 in x number of a chance. So technically everyone's show positive. The only way to truly know is with measurements from ultrasound or waiting until he or she is born. With this one they told me she had a 1 in 1800 chance and then told me that means the risk is low.

We did the UPS screening which is 2 sets of blood work and an ultrasound and came back positive with a 1:75 chance of DS. At 22 those changes are really abnormal, so we went forward with an amniocentesis to test baby's DNA to be 100% sure and the results of that came back normal - no extra chromosomes or chromosome fragments! We're expecting a chromosomally-normal boy next month. :)
If the screening you had is similar to what I had, they only test for markers, so a positive doesn't mean your child has downs syndrome, it means that some things came up that CAN be associated with downs syndrome, so you generally move on to the next round of testing to see.
So, based on my result, 1 child in 75 with the exact same set of markers will have down syndrome, which means 74 other babies with the same results will not have down syndrome.
If the testing you did was fetal DNA testing that's different because if they tested babies DNA by looking at the chromosomes and find an extra whole or partial 21st chromosome then that means baby will have downs syndrome - that's what downs syndrome is.

Not personally but I've read MANY stories of just that. Test shows mid to high risk for downs and baby is born perfectly healthy and normal.

My daughter Sono Came back fine, nothing was wrong. The screen is showing abnormal.
