False alarm?

Question

I started with pain early morning for like 1 1/2 with contractions every 2 mins. Then they stopped. Then around 4 started again same symptoms then again went away. I called my doctor and told me if  happens again to go to the hospital. What are your opinions?

Answer

Going to the hospital is the best thing you can do because if it's not a false alarm they can stop the labor. 
It might seem like a waste if nothing happens (I spent 4 days in the hospital, and everything was okay in the end) but it'll be worth it knowing that you were safe, and if you dont go and it's real labor then they can't stop it after so long. 
It's better safe than sorry.

Answer

We went to the hospital , they watched me for an hour for contractions in bed and then sent us home. Complete waste
