Would you go out of town? 31 weeks pregnant with twuns?

So my grandmother is having a big birthday party, she'll be 90. Its around 7 hours away from where I live & where my OB and husband are. My hubby wont be able to attend. My dad really wants me to go, and I'd be staying 2 nights over there. I'll be 31 weeks pregnant with twins however, and I'm older (35) Not sure what to do. I'm high risk and see a specialist every month on top of my regular Dr. 
I haven't talked to my Dr yet, but I wanted ya'lls opinion. Would you go?

Not if I was high risk, no way.

Face timing or skyping could be a good alternative. I wouldn't feel comfortable going if I were in your shoes.

I don't think you should. You may go into labor and end up having to give birth somewhere else & that will not make you happy, and your husband will be 7 hours away and might possibly miss it, I mean of course your labor could last long but it could also be super quick, especially with high risk you shouldn't risk the drive!! I'm sure your family will understand.

Hell.. no! Your close to your due date, I assume and are high risk? I am sorry but your health and your babies health are way more IMPORTANT than a birthday party. Granted it is family but I would not endanger myself and my kids because someone wanted me to see my gma and eat cake.

I wouldn't....not with twins. At 31 weeks if you went into labor you could be looking at a long hospital stay if they can stop labor or a long nicu stay if the babies were born. Transferring you to a hospital close to home would be a nightmare and in some situations not even a possibility. I'd stick close to home because I know plenty of twins born at 31/32 weeks.

I'm 31 weeks and 6 hours away from home.  But I have one baby. It's however you feel, we can't tell you how your body is feeling.

If you had someone to drive you all that way, maybe, but 7 hours each way alone seems questionable.
