We didn't and I don't regret it at al. I loved the moment of finding out alone with my husband. I'm not one to like all the attention either. I didn't have a baby shower either.

I never thought we would, but we did. Just our parents and siblings though. We did a pull piñata. Everyone had the chance to pull a string before my nephew went back for a second and candy, etc started to fall!!

We did one. It's the first grandchild/great grandchild and everyone was super excited to find out. We did it with just family.  At my parents it was small and just my parents and brother (cupcake with blue in the middle). For my husbands family (they all live close ) we had around 25 people and had a big party that was decorated all black and white so there were no hints, my husband and I even wore black and white lol. Our sons name will be Jackson and everyone knew our two name choices, and since everyone in the family love card games and board games we put a Jack from a card deck in an envelope and got his mom to open it. She said 'it's a jack?' And I repeated 'it's a JACK!' And pointed to my belly. And everyone understood and thought it was a genius way of announcing. Most of the family had never even heard of a gender reveal before so it was fun for everyone. But don't feel pressured to do one, cause I'm sure no one is expecting one. Lol, they're still fairly new party ideas.

If I lived at home with friends and family around, I would have. But the Marine corps has us halfway around the world. So we sent them an ornament (around Christmas time) that had pink or blue glitter in it. It was a girl, so it was pink. 😘

We are going to have my husband a Cousin learn the sex of the baby and surprise us. We cant wait.
