Twins??

Question

They are sending me in for an ultra sound thursday. Why? Because at 42 days my hcg is 11,500? I'm freaking out.

I'm guessing it's a dating scan. They are pretty common so early on. I wouldn't stress about your levels honestly. Some people have super high hormones and only have one baby. Some people have low hormones and perfectly healthy babies or even multiples. Anything is possible! But I wouldn't worry about it until you see two little babies on the ultrasound!

42 days is what about 6 weeks which according to this is pretty normal - you could be anywhere from 6-8 weeks so I wouldn't assume twins just yet (wouldn't say it's not possible because it is but I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just based on your numbers). 😜
