Using baby wash as shampoo?

Question

I picked up some Aveeno baby wash yesterday without really thinking about needing shampoo or a wash-shampoo combo. A) If he doesn't even have any hair, can I use the wash on his scalp? And B) even if he does have hair it's not going to be oily adult hair.... Could I still use the wash on his noggin????

Normal baby body wash is fine for baby all over. You don't really need to use shampoo and conditioner until theyre older. It's really just extra product to buy. My son is about to be 2 and I still use his body wash in his hair. But now that he has hair I condition it to. Sometimes haha

It's fine to use all over. You're right, baby hair is not like adult hair that gets icky if it's not washed. The only time my daughters hair got gross was when I used baby oil and a fine tooth comb to get rid of her cradle cap. But the baby wash worked fine for that too. I only started getting shampoo & conditioner for her in the last year or so (she's two) when she started getting sweaty after playing outside. And her hair is super curly so I use the conditioner to comb it out I the tub before I braid it for bed.

I see nothing wrong with it. Many baby washes are head and body wash.
