So I've been getting monthly ultrasounds, and my last one was on July 18th. I was 35 weeks then, and the dr said baby was measuring at 6.7 oz already! His recommendation was to deliver at 39 weeks. When I went to leave he said he would put the recommendation in to my Drs office and I would talk about it with them at my next appointment. Well had my appointment yesterday and my regular dr was out so I saw another dr at the practice. He informed me that he disagrees with the recommendation and doesn't think a big baby is a reason to induce. He then proceeded to make a few snide remarks about the Drs at maternal fetal medicine. ( where my ultrasounds are done) he wouldn't even check to see if I was dilated even though I've been cramping excessively over the last week. Has anyone else's Drs done this? I feel like they are just using their opinions, and no one cares about mine.
