When should I go on Maternity leave????

Hi I'm a mail lady here in sunny south Florida I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant and doing 9-11 hours a day.  My idea was to go on maternity leave September 1st when I'm 36 weeks but I'm not 100% sure if I can survive until then...... What do you guys think is a good time for me to go on leave?? Maybe at 34 weeks? I'm so undecided

It's different for every woman depending on how your body is doing and how much time you can afford to take as well. I work for myself so I plan on working up until the baby comes if nothing else to keep me distracted as I know I will get super impatient the closer it gets .

I worked all the way to the day before my due date, and baby was 3 days overdue. So I'm glad I kept working. Just listen to your body!

I went on maternity at 36 weeks because I could not stand to be on my feet. The pain in my hips was excruciating from Sciatica. I worked in retail and it made it worse. So, my doctor decided that it would be best for me to go on leave at that time.

I'm planning on working til my due date or possibly until I go into labor. I am a nurse and work 3-4 12 hour shifts a week. If u can afford it I say go ahead. My last baby I worked a week past my due date then sat home for a week waiting to go into labor. I was finally induced at 42+3. It was the longest week of my life I was so bored.

I worked till 36 weeks and only stopped because that was what my doctor told me and hr at my company was like "when are you leaving youre huge" lol but time slowed down sooo much when I went home working made the time fly by! Anyways I ended up having my baby 10 days early thankfully because I was losing my mind at home! There's only so much baby prepping you can do...
