Today I am 36 weeks + 2 days. I had my second internal exam today. I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. I also have been having BH contractions all week (nothing alarming). After the appointment i was cramping and my contractions for a little stronger and I also  had a little leakage. When I went to the restroom to clean up, I noticed brown and pink discharge along with what appeared to be a darker red blood clot looking thing. I called my doctor and I went back in to be checked to see if my water broke, it didn't. ***With my first internal exam I did not have cramps or bleeding after*** Do you guys think this was my bloody show? Mucus plug? Or just from exam? I am still cramping and having light brown & pink discharge. I don't know what to expect out of a bloody show.
