How much is your breastfeed baby getting in bottle?

Daughter is 10 weeks old and I just went back to work. She's breastfed. How much and how often does your baby get?

My lactation consultant said that your baby should be eating 2.5 times their weight in ounces. So for example: my 13 week old son is 13 lbs 13 oz. Funny coincidence.. So, 13.13x2.5=32.8 or 33 ounces per day. My son eats about 4-5 ounces every 3 hours, which puts him at 32+ ounces per day. It's been pretty accurate for me thus far. Good luck!

the rule is 1 oz for every hour you are away from baby.  I always send extra just to be safe 😊

I have read they are suppose to get 1-1.5 per hour between feedings. So if they feed every 2 hours then give them 2-3oz. I think the normal for breastfeed is no more than 4 oz but every baby is different!

Jeez my baby must be a fatty lol. I send him with close to 20oz for 8-9 hour day and it's all gone by the time I pick him up. He's 10 weeks.

They say the rule of thumb is an once for every hour youre away but I needed to up that just a bit. I send 3 bottles just shy of 4 ounces each. He gets one every 3 hours. I'm at work about 9 hours a day. Your caregiver should work with you to figure out the right amount.
