Insurance breast pump?

I spoke with my insurance and they told me I need to get approved to get and electric breast pump. So what do I tell my doctor ?🤔🤔

Told my dr I needed a breastpump and she wrote me a prescription. With my insurance, I can't get the breastpump until I'm within 30 days of my due/delivery date

Where are you from? I really didn't have to do anything. I went on to edge park.com, picked out the pump I wanted, and filled out the information that's on my insurance card. They confirmed it with my dr and I had it the next business day!!! They even sent me the extra carry bag even though they said it isnt medically necessary!

My OB asked if I need a prescription for the breast pump for my insurance. I still have mine for my first son. I'd ask your doctor, mine had the paperwork I would have needed.

My doctor gives you a prescription to submit to Insurance. Just ask them.

You just fill out the information and they contact your doctor for the prescription. That's how I got mine.

Try going through a company called Aeroflow. They talk with insurance and obtain order from dr. For you it's simple. I had no issues gave them my basic insurance info and dr. I for and they handled the rest I had my pump within a week after getting confirmation email from them!
