What does this look like?!

Took my 2 year old to the ER yesterday and was told he only had "chapped lips"... Which I feel like he doesn't have, they are blistered and bleeding! What does this look like to you other Mommas?

My daughter gets those also. It's caused from licking/sucking in lips. I use A and D ointment and it works great.

There blisters from probably licking his lips a lot, I use to have them when I was a kid

Does he lick his lips. My nephews lips looked like that when he was 3 but it's because he kept licking his lips and they got chapped raw and blistered. His was way worse as it was all over his lips and under his nose

Did he hit himself or chew on something he shouldn't have? I wouldn't loose sleep over it. Apply baby Orajel on it if it looks like it bothers him.

My son will get this but he has mild autism. It's like a nervous tick for him. He will literally lick his lips til they chap up and bleed. Just get some chap stick and it will get better.

Looks like he licked his lips trying to moisten them and they got severely chapped. Mine used to do that. Try Vaseline or Coconut oil.
