3 CM - 80% effaced... Baby soon?

I'm 36+5... Wondering if the doctor is getting my hopes up when he says maybe a week? Input on other mothers who have been this and when baby came?

Sorry but he is just being kind - not to say it couldn't happen soon! You could be at this stage for weeks, or you could progress quickly. It's really no indicator. My midwives wouldn't even check me before 39 weeks because of that. But, being that far to start is a great beginning, no matter when you do go into labor! Wishing you a smooth delivery.

I was 34w and 1,5cm dilated and 90% and still in one piece. Lets see for how long. Now Im almost 36w

You're almost half way dilated. Of course you'll be having baby soon lol.
