Masturbation fail...

So basically last night I was reading my saucy book and things got interesting, to which I then started to madturbate. However, half way through I look at the hand I'm using and it was covered in blood! 😳 After cleaning myself (and my sheets) up I put on a pad and presumed it was my period as eve had been telling me I was due in the next few days. Today I was using a tampon and when I took it out there was dryish blood on it (nothing really strange there) but there was no other blood... I decided not to use another tampon or pad and see how it went. Went to the toilet a few hours later and still no blood...? I usually get quite a heavy flow on the first couple of days so this is really starting to freak me out and I'm thinking that the blood wasn't actually my period... HELP?!
