Trying after miscarriages.

I had a d&c for my 2nd miscarriage back in May at 14 weeks... I passed my first miscarriage naturally in February. I was only 5 weeks along! My question is how long did you wait after any miscarriage to start trying again? My Ob/Gyn said three months... I have an appt next week for some results from the bloodwork and U/S he ordered to see if their is an underlying cause to our back to back miscarriages. My husband wants to start trying after we get the results and I do too but I will be just two weeks shy of that 3 months mark! Any advice would help! Thanks in advance!
