How long do you wait to tell your friends and family your pregnant? What do you think of the typical wait till your 12 weeks and then it's okay to tell ?

We told our parents and my husbands brother. We're waiting until 12 weeks to tell everyone else!

I told my twin sister today, 3 days after finding out, and same with my parents. I am waiting to tell my in laws and very close friends until next week. Then I will like wait until about 2 months before telling others.
