Small baby?

Tried posting this earlier but I guess it didn't post. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced being told your baby has been measuring the same for the past 3 weeks. And what can be done about it? They said everything else looked great.

Are they going by measurements from an ultrasound or from your belly measurements? I know my belly measurements are always up and down because my little girl is always moving into different spaces. My doctor told me not to worry even when my belly measurements were 2 weeks smaller then the week before. She said they may have measured incorrectly or baby just moved down. If they said this based on an ultrasound measurement they could also have measured wrong but I would hope they would have at least checked blood flow in the umbilical cord to make sure baby is getting everything he/she needs. I was measuring smaller yesterday then I was last week.  My Dr. Was not concerned, he said even having urine in your bladder can make you measure bigger.  He told me not to worry my baby is the perfect size, I'm 38 weeks and belly was measuring 36 weeks.

I am 37 weeks and they are just now telling me he doesn't seem to be growing but there's a chance he may be sideways. They said they were gonna wait til next week to do an ultrasound.

I was told the same thing at my 39 week checkup! Everything I've experienced so far has been on track, normal development. I even had one doctor tell me that my paperwork is "boring." But at this last checkup, my belly measured 37 weeks. Baby is head down but hasn't dropped, and the doctor could only guess from a quick examination that he is "not a big baby, probably 6 lbs." She did not seem concerned, and I've tried to remain calm. It's difficult, though! I hope and pray our babies are just the right size and healthy!

I worked for a lady that had iugr with both of her babies but made sure to lay on her left side as much as possible and her 2nd was 2 lbs heavier than her 1st so that may help you as well.
