Makes no sense
I had my 30 weeks appointment today. I've gained 25 lbs total throughout my pregnancy, but haven't gained any weight since my last appointment. My doctor tells me that since I started off 'overweight' I shouldn't gain anymore than 25 lbs total. Ok so 'overweight' btw is 160 🙄. So she says that my baby is on the small side right now at 3.3 pounds... And then says not to gain anymore weight. I asked how that is realistic if I still have two months for baby to grow... Of course I'm going to gain weight. So what is a realistic amount to gain is. She tells me with a straight face.... You shouldn't gain anymore weight. Seriously lady? How does that make any sense?
I appreciate doctors and their knowledge. But sometimes they're dumb and go too much by the book.
