Depo & estrogen

So I'm on the depo and I've been having lots of side effects like insomnia, loss of appetite, head aches, severe back pain, and constant bleeding. Now my doctor has thrown me on estrogen for the next 2 weeks. Do you ladies have any stories on estrogen? Were they good?
