How often are you having contractions?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant. The doctor last week told me I was 2 cm dilated. Maybe 3-4 days ago I started having contractions every evening. Is it normal to have them daily?

Yes normal, called Braxton hicks contractions

I've been having prodromal contractions for a little over 2 weeks now. They're different from Braxton hicks because they're at regular intervals. My doc said they aren't strong enough to do anything but I have them all day everyday.

Real contractions or Braxton hicks? Are you staying hydrated and timing them?

I'm 38 weeks and have contractions all the time. But they aren't the "real" ones. I get a NST test every week and they are always on my readings. That's been going on since I was 35 weeks. I have an appt in the AM and we're going to schedule an induction bc I have GD and they don't like diabetics going past 39 weeks and I'm measuring a week ahead which is t too bad with having diabetes.
