Registering for later items?

What's your opinion for registering for items you won't need for a while like a convertible car seat, kids dishes, etc? Any ideas or opinions?

Absolutely! Theres nothing wrong with it. Some people love to buy things for later (I'm personally one of those people) that's why you might end up with some 12m clothes & size 2 or 3 diapers.

I hate the idea of buying NB clothes or 0-3m pacifiers or whatever, I leg other people buy that crap. Id rather the baby get some good use out of it

I put a travel system with an infant car seat AND a convertible car seat. A high chair, jogging stroller, sippy cups, spoons everything I basically used for my daughter (7years ago)& her first few years of life. I got pretty much everything except a few items that we will just go get. I made my registry basically like a shopping list for hubby & I. We definitely weren't expecting people to use it like they did, but of course we are extremely thankful! Put whatever you want on your registry 😊

I'd put everything a baby would need on the registry. That's what it's for. When your child is 2, they are still gonna need different things. Get as much as you can now. And just like the other woman said, you'll have a boatload of people buy you so much newborn to 3 months stuff, other people will need ideas of what you will still NEED or they'll just start getting you random new baby things.
