Spotting

Any of you ladies spotting I'm 7w 1 day today and still having brown mucus like spotting been doing so since week 5 after having a gush of bright red blood. Had an abdominal ultrasound saw  baby with a flickering heart at 6w 2 days but the tech said they couldn't measure the rate. Is this normal to still be spotting? Or could this be due to my yeast infection that I have even though I'm almost done with the treatment.
