Preparing dog for baby

Our pitty, Charlie is as sweet as they come and spoiled to the core. Loves all people she comes into contact with and is really good around the one babu she's been exposed to. However I'm just being extra cautious and looking for ways to prepare her for when our baby girl is here in november. What helped your dog's transition? And how did you teach them to be extra gentle? I'm excited to see her with the baby, I think she will be a gentle giant and super protective but I just am taking precautions because I'm sure she'll get jealous.
