How/when does your newborn get circumcised?

I know this post will get probably alot of negitive feed back but my husband and I have decided that we want our son to be circumcised. Please no bashing. This is my second child but my first son. After we had our daughter we had her in the room with us the whole time. But having a boy I'm not sure about the stay in the hospital after. When does the surgery take place? Is it while I'm still admitted to the hospital? We are on Colorado if that helps. Any information is so appreciated. Just want to know what to expect!
