SELF CONSCIOUS!

Me and my husband have been together for 6 years. I love pleasuring him,and making him happy when it comes to giving him head. But when it comes to him wanting to go down on me I get totally turned off..its not that he does horrible at it I just can't get into it and he says he loves to do it.. But self consciously I can't tell my self it's ok.maybe it's because I grew up with guys hearing them say all the nasty thing about having to go down on a girl... Idk anyone alse feel self conscious? How do I get past that?
