I just need to vent.

I've been best friends with someone for well over 10 yrs. And we have seen each other thru so much! About 5 yrs ago she decided to start up her own photography business. Naturally, I supported her. As a best friend would. I even offered to help at the some shoots for free. Sometimes I even purchased props for the shoots.

I'm not gonna lie, her work is pretty amazing and has been featured in local papers. So my mind was made up about asking her to do my maternity shoot. However I was skeptical because she's only done 2 other maternity shoots. One of which she did for free, and I helped her with.

She just emailed me a price list...which I understand. I get it. But the prices are ridiculously high. Ranging from 250 (the smallest package...5-8 pics) to 575. Is it just me or does this sound like a rip off coming from someone who is considered my best friend
