Help !

Im swollen and miserable and past my due date !! They won't induce me for about two more weeks. Im not that patient lol. What can I do to naturally induce myself and go into labor?? Did anyone try canola oil ? I heard a little about it being dangerous. My midwife said I could try it but it doesn't always work, any other recommendations !
