Red Spotting [Update]
I am 25 weeks pregnant, almost 26 weeks (I will be on Monday). I am having some red blood discharge. I had similar bleeding when I was almost 20 weeks pregnant and I went to the ER. They said that there wasn't any indication of bleeding, my cervix was fine and that all was well. About 2 - 2 1/2 weeks after that I experienced the same kind of bleeding and decided to just let it go away on its own. Last night I started having bleeding again. I can best describe it as about the amount of blood you might experience from a paper cut. This time I am having a little more than the last two times and it's also lasting longer. I called the Labor and Delivery nurse at the hospital and she said that it should be fine unless I have enough to fill a pad. So I don't know what to do.
My baby boy sits really low. It seems like he is sitting a little lower now than usual. I haven't felt any kicks higher up like I normally would. This is my first pregnancy and I know I'm over thinking everything. Has anyone else experienced this?
[Update] So I decided to go to the ER. Everything is fine with me and the baby 👍, I'm just a little embarrassed now 😅. It turns out that the bleeding was hemorrhoids. This is my first pregnancy, I've never had an issue with these before being pregnant and when I went to the ER for it the first time they didn't tell me that it was hemorrhoids. I'm just glad to know what it is that I was experiencing and hope that my story can maybe spare someone else the embarrassment.
