6 weeks no baby on us yet ughhhhh

Ok ladies. First off congrats to all of you! So I went for my 6 week ultrasound bc I had been having some dark spotting when I wiped and although the gestational sac was there the baby wasn't yet. My hcg level was 8200, but I was wandering if this happened to anyone else? Thanks in advance guys.
