Is it too soon to shop?

So I'm about 5 weeks and 6 days and I've told my family that I'm expecting and everyone is so happy and supportive and excited. I'm an impulsive advance planner but I'm wondering is it too soon to start looking for things to buy? Even if it's gender neutral like cribs and strollers? When did you guys start looking?

I'm going to wait because I had a miscarriage the first time and ever since its been hard not to worry.

That's a personal decision but my advice would be to try and wait until atleast 8 weeks love. By then heartbeat is detected and chances of miscarriage go down more.

Start with essentials like diapers and wipes as they go on sale. Wait to buy big items until you find hard to pass up deals! It's hard to wait but when you get what you want for 50% off its worth it! Retail changes with the seasons so lots of clearance items regularly, just keep checking!

Buy socks and hats. But on the big stuff wait. I don't plan on butt diaper till after my 12w anatomy US next Monday. I've bought 6 onesies and night dress PJ and pair of pants. 
I've lost 2 and I've always had something physical Incase it went wrong I had something physical to hang onto.
