Does anyone have electrician spouses?

My fiancé really wants to be a electrician and he wants to know how to start. Does anyone have a spouse that does that line of work how did they start. Any advice would help thank you

My husband started right after high school at a large company, knew a friend who got him hired. Now he is liscensed and runs several jobs at a time for the company. Try an apprenticeship as others have stated maybe!

My SO went to college and now works under a self employed Electrician

My husband started in the oil field. He's now a 3rd year appentice. Temp agencies typically have a ton of work for electricians, that would be a good place to start. See if anyone is looking for first year apprentices.

My husband started working under someone...didn't go to school for it but now he's the foreman of his company!

My husband learned from YouTube, he is really good too. Also, he does construction so im sure he learned from people working on electricity there too.
