Rant😤, It's been a long 2 monthsðŸ˜ðŸ˜© cute pictures included
I couldn't wait for June to come so we could welcome our little boy into our arms. He came 2 days before his due date on 5/6/16 and was absolutely perfect. After I stopped combi-feeding (breast milk and Aptamil) and just using formula he started constantly being sick and gagging, typical reflux. Doctors said we were 'over feeding him' and to only feed him 2oz every 2 hours, utter bollocks, poor boy was starved, took it up on my motherly instincts to feed that boy what he wanted and persevere with however much he wanted however often, despite having no sleep!, but told the doctor we had stuck to the instructions and fed every 2 hours, finally after over a week he prescribed gaviscon reflux relief powder for his bottles, a lot of messing about, but seemed to work for a while. After about 1 1/2 weeks of being on gaviscon he started bringing back up all of his milk and screaming as if he was in pain, I noticed one night I was feeding him that my arm where his head was, somehow was wet, he hadn't been sick and it wasn't sweat, all behind the poor lads ear was turning red raw and soaked in some sort of clear fluid, along with being very swollen and I can imagine very painful for a 6 week old. Took him to the doctors who said its an ear infection, prescribed antibiotics, steroid cream and paracetamol. The day after his other ear started to do it as well as a rash over his body and one coming across his face, so we took him straight to A&E, where sure enough, double ear infection then his temp spiked to 37.5 and he had to stay in hospital, have a cannula, bloods taken, antibiotics and various other medicines to get rid of the infections. 3 nights in hospital and we were discharged with cream for the rash on his body, antibiotics and a stronger reflux medicine. Finally he was on the mend, until 1 week after when he stopped his antibiotics and the ears started leaking and going raw again, then he started to develop a red raw rash under his chin across his neck, covered in smelly fluid and he would scream if you dared to try and move his head away from the worst one, which would of stretched the skin a little if he moved his head. So back to the doctors who was so shocked and said its very bad, more cream and antibiotics. Now I'm praying it settles him down so we can get a routine going and stop him crying everytime he's awake because he's in pain etc.

Then last night me and my SO had a big row because he keeps going out during the day/night with his mates because they work away and he only sees him on weekends, baring in mind he works mon-sat and gets Sunday off , the baby is asleep when he leaves for work and sometimes having a nap when he comes home. So he rarely sees him, I change all the nappies, do all the feeds, deal with his agonising cries after being so ill, just to add his dad came for 1 hour out of the 3 nights he was in the children's ward because 'he had a cold' right, our son was at his most vulnerable, probably scared and worried, but he only had me, I was the one by his cot sleeping on the floor, waking up every hour when the nurses would come and faff with him, settle him down and feed him, get him back to sleep only for them to come back an hour later to do something more. But God forbid I want to spend time as a family with my SO and son on 1 day we get together and he would rather see his mate, I don't have much of a problem but he still wants to go out, get drunk, go on road trips for a few days, but we have a 2 month old little boy; it's not fair on him that if wasn't there to look after him, the next people to do it would be his grandparents, not his own fucking dad. He's told me he's going back to his mums tonight and taking all of his stuff, but she said he will have a lot of explaining to do. Sorry it's so long just had to get it down somewhere😤
I'm 19 and he's 20 btw so we're both young and apparently I'm a little more grown up to stop doing everything for our son😡😖😤🙄
