Fell and hit stomach!!

I was down in basement checking on my cat who just had kittens. She had them up on about a 3 ft high shelf area. When I went to feed her and was stepping down onto the stool I missed and caught my stomach on the corner as I went down and hit my back on the wall. It didn't hurt too bad but I have a huge red mark on my stomach. Should I be concerned? Does this warrant a call to the dr?
