2nd baby! Baby shower??

For your second baby did anyone throw you a baby shower? There is so much that we need again but it seems to me that people aren't thinking of doing another baby shower. What happened with your second babies?

I'm not having one but I've been to a few 'Baby Sprinkles' for friends. It's just an excuse to all get together and eat cake!

I hope i have another one, my last livi.g baby was 6 years ago, so i have nothing. Except baby girl clothes when we found out about my daughter last year. Unfortunately she didnt make it to birth. So now ive got 3 huge boxes if baby clothes and bothing else. Hopefully its a girl this time too haha.

You can ask a friend or throw one yourself.   I am having I one for our second.  It had been 14 years and is like starting over.

Where I'm from there are unofficial rules of baby showers.. if it's been more than 5 years you get another one regardless of genden. We will throw you one if you have the opposite sex anytime.  But you aren't getting one for the 3rd one lol ... not sure who or why come up with this lol

How far between your first baby and this one coming? And is baby a different gender from the first? If it's a large gap or different gender a shower is totally understandable if someone can throw you one. If no one steps up you could always do a "sprinkle" lunch and ask for clothes and diapers if you'd like
