Interracial relationship

Hey girls! Are any of you in an interracial relationship? I'm white and he's black and I swear people are constantly looking at us. For example, we went out to breakfast and the table behind us had three black ladies and a white lady. The whole time they were staring at us (his back was facing them) and they even turned around to stare and laugh. Just seems a little (okay, a shit ton) annoying in 2016!!!! He doesn't let on that it bothers him, but it pisses me off. Advice?
