Is hair coloring safe?

Does anyone know by experience or have talked to their doctor about coloring your hair while pregnant? Is it safe to do?

My doc said it was fine. Think about how many hair stylists would have messed up kids or have to quit their jobs if it was so unsafe. Chemicals have come a long way and most salons are well ventilated.

They all say yes.. But i didnt color my hair in first three months

I had highlights done at 31 weeks.. I went to an ulta Salon, so it was very open and I didn't smell anything from the dyes. Everything is still good 2 weeks later.

I also dyed my hair with my 1st pregnancy, and we have a healthy pregnancy and my daughter is 2 and perfectly healthy.
