When did you introduce a pacifier to your breastfeeding newborn?

Whenever you want to. My first had a paci from the start, as did my second and third. My first didn't like it so at 3 months we rid the house of them. My second though was hooked and we took his finally away (lastly at night) at 2 years old. My third didn't love his at first, but he's a fan now at 5 months.

I breastfed all three of my kids exclusively. I've never found a paci instructive or disruptive to that relationship. You are the Mom. You make that choice.

2 weeks, because I had to leave him with my mom for an hour for a dentist appointment and didn't want him to have a bottle yet. He's 7 weeks and still breastfeeding like a champ. He'll also take a bottle of pumped milk from his dad!
