Induced natural labor?

Question

Have any of you mommas been induced but still go on to have a drug free labor? Obviously the induction is not natural, but as far as no epidural, etc? I have gestational diabetes so dr doesn't want me to go past my due date. I really want to go into labor naturally but feeling discouraged about that happening at this point!! What are your induction experiences?

I was induced at 37,5. My daughter was born at 38. (I was induced due to high blood pressure) Very long labor, within 25 minutes my pain was tolerable to me blacking out. I didn't want epidural and was doing ok until that point. Once I got my epidural it didn't even "work" well. I could still move my legs and I could still feel contractions. It is totally possible to be induced and not have an epidural, but for me that was not the case!  Today I'm 39w with my second. I pray he comes on his own before 41w so I don't have to be induced again. I fully believe I can go w out an epidural if I'm not induced!
