So everywhere on the Internet says you need a progesterone only birth control if you're breastfeeding because it could interfere with milk supply, but when I talked to my doctor today she said I could have a combination hormone pill if I wanted because that's an old theory they have proved to not be true with a number of studies today. So if that's the case why do recent websites still say no estrogen? What are your guys' experiences? I'm curious if anyone else is taking a pill with both estrogen and progesterone because I really don't want progesterone only (higher chance of weight gain.. and I did well on the pill I had before and want to go back on it).
