Rude to have another baby shower?

Hello-

I have always been told that it's rude to have a baby shower for any subsequent children for any child after you first.

However, the last time I had a baby shower was 13 years ago. I have two daughters from my first marriage, almost 13 and 10. I am now pregnant with twins. I didn't keep anything from a decade ago. I still feel weird having a shower though. Is it wrong/rude to have one for my twins?

Who the fuck made that rule up? It's like telling a kid will only have your first birthday part cuz the rest don't matter only the first one. 
Go and have your baby shower and celebrate the new life!!

I had a baby shower last year for my daughter and I'm having one this year for my twins. I just made a point to tell ppl not to buy clothes cuz I have all my daughters old clothes and just to buy diapers and wipes. Every life deserves to be honored.

I never thought it was weird to have multiple baby showers. My family has had a baby shower for every child. My mom had four baby showers, my aunt had two, and so on. It's a celebration of life, I don't think it's rude. Especially if there's a huge gap between babies, and the gender is different, but even then. I never thought it was weird for multiple baby showers.

It wasn't until this app, that I started to notice a lot of people thinking it was wrong to have more than one baby shower. I had two baby showers with this pregnancy alone! Given the fact that my parents are divorced, but still.

I say you have your second baby shower. Celebrate the lives of those two little ones growing inside of you ❤️❤️

This is twins...and your husbands first...AND it's been a long time.  Have a shower! Hah. I'm sure you have lots of new friends since then that would love to celebrate with you as well as your husbands family.
