Best car seat? I hate mine!

Ok girls...I need car seat recommendations for my 1 month old. I have a britax 35 elite and I cannot stand it. It is so squished and tight I feel like she'll only fit in it for another month. It's also super heavy to carry with or without her in it. I'm looking to invest in a lightweight seat I can carry without my hubby.

We have a Chicco Keyfit and we love it! So easy to install and use.. It's also very safe!

We have the graco quick connect 35 and love it. She's got plenty of room to grow into it and she seems to be able to fall asleep instantly once we are in the car so must be comfy.

My sister-in-law bought us the Graco convertible car seat and I love it. It doesn't detach but it's perfect for car rides from the time he came out of the hospital up until he no longer needs a booster seat.

I use Graco, so do/have all my other mom friends. I am a huge fan, they're lightweight and can be used universally with any other graco base, stroller, etc. They're pretty affordable too.

We have the Nuna pipa. It's on the pricey side but it's so safe and it only weighs like 7lbs and some change. We love it and all its features.

I used the britax b safe with my 1st and 2nd and loved it. I just went right to a convertible seat with this baby.

On a side note if you do use this seat until you get a new one, just be sure you tighten the straps and you might have to remove the covers on the strap (by her neck) in order to get the chest clip at nipple level. I find it easiest to pull the slack out of the hips and hold the straps then pull the straps tight until you can not pinch them at the shoulder
